Client questions

A few questions, answered.

How we charge, how involved you need to be, and how we work on your project outside Kenya. If something is missing, write to us.

01

Do you work outside Kenya?

Yes. The office is on Muthangari Drive, Westlands. We work throughout Kenya, and we take on your project further afield when you ask us to, with contractors who already know that ground.
02

Can you join a project that has already started?

Yes. We begin by reading your drawings, the contract and the cost, then we set out how we can help you from here.
03

How do you charge?

Development and project management are a fee: a percentage of construction value, or a fixed fee for agreed stages. Construction and interiors are priced against a clear scope for your work.
04

How involved do I need to be?

As much as you like. As a rule we send you a written note each week, review cost and programme each month, and keep one person as your point of contact.
05

Is there a typical size of project?

We work on houses, camps, interiors and restorations of different scales. What matters is that your work can be done well, and that you care how the place is made.
06

How do you buy materials from abroad?

We buy in Kenya when the quality is right for you. When something needs to come in, we price the landed cost, the lead time and the duty before it is ordered.

If we have not answered you here, we would like to.
